We believe that Inbound Marketing holds the key to exponential growth. That’s why we’re looking for an experienced CMO who can take our Demand Generation strategy to the next level.

Your responsibilities

  • As the CMO you’ll receive carte blanche to develop and future-orient our Inbound strategy. You’ll work together with an Inbound Marketeer but will establish your own plan from the ground up, thereby experiencing all aspects of Inbound within Starred. In time you’ll build your own team (and therefore know precisely which people you need to be successful).
  • You’ll be responsible for collecting leads through channels such as search, blogs, PR, display advertising, social media, SEO, retargeting, etc. This demands an enthusiasm for experimentation to see what works best.
  • You’re a real conversion specialist and dream about Analytics, Funnels, Landing page optimization, Cohort Analyses, A/B tests, etc.
  • Collecting and creating relevant content: you know what’s necessary to get good blogs, whitepapers, infographics and newsletters online.
  • You’ll function as a partner for Sales and supply the best possible Sales Qualified Leads.
  • You’re adept at working with partners, such as agencies and freelancers.
  • You can work with limited resources like no other, and are not afraid of getting your hands dirty.

Your profile

  • 4 years HBO or university education.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
  • A unique combination of audacity and creativity, combined with advanced analytic capability and data-driven mindset.
  • You’re enthusiastic about scaleups and technology - a fast learner and proficient in adopting new technologies and their understanding their value.
  • You’re experienced with Marketing Automation, CRM, Adwords, Google Analytics, Content Marketing, and A/B testing tools.
  • You want to get to the bottom of every visit to our website. Why and how did they get here? What actions have they taken? Where have they become stuck? How can we streamline?
  • You’ve got experience in innovative content marketing, both ‘owned’ as well as ‘earned’ content to work with in developing and nurturing funnel leads.
  • You’re a convincing, to the point and pleasant communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • You’ve got a strong will to be successful. We’re a fast-growing company who are looking for flexible people who take initiative to find answers themselves, taking the lead in being successful in their role.
  • You’re a highly motivated team-player, with original ideas about inbound marketing and conversion optimisation.
