Your mission at Starred

The land of opportunities is calling. Can you call back and make Starred’s voice heard? We want to tell great stories. Stories that inspire, help and move recruitment teams. Stories with copy that work in short-form, long-form, digital, print, video, audio... 

As our Content Marketer, you’re a creative, versatile, and results-driven storyteller who can strike the right chord with our Account Based Marketing (ABM) target audience. You’re keen on making your stories stick - you happen to know the right sequence and cadence of output for both evergreen and topical content. Data is your impetus for even more compelling stories. 

Crafting stories for Starred serves a purpose; we need to grow fast to impact millions of people's work-life for the better by giving them a voice, especially around strenuous recruitment processes. We’d like to invite you to join our mission and make it yours too.

Your responsibilities

  • Create content strategies and tactics appealing to our buyer personas

  • Initiate and deliver engaging content - long and short-form - at a high velocity

  • Research topics for curated and own content

  • Attract and move our ABM accounts down the buyer funnel with your storytelling

  • Produce clever, converting campaign copy with click-worthy CTAs

  • Promote our team’s content on owned, paid, and earned channels

  • Edit content from team members and provide feedback where necessary

  • Manage and own the content calendar and ensure deadlines are met

  • Work closely with the marketing team and across teams - from Sales to R&D and Customer Success

Your profile

  • You believe in our mission, share our company values, and don’t shy away from learning about our solution in depth

  • You can write fast but will never compromise on consistency and quality

  • You’re a native English speaker and can adopt an authentic US tone-of-voice

  • You’re a creative, big picture thinker with a love for well-crafted prose and details

  • You can spark joy with your analytical approach and impressive project management mastery

  • You use metrics to measure if your work resonates with our ABM audience

  • You know how to work with Google Work, HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, and Instapage (or are committed to becoming proficient at these and future tools)

  • You’ve been creating B2B (SaaS) content for about 3 years
